The European Nurserystock Association (ENA) highlights the sustainable development of cities.
The French city, Arles, is one of the three finalists in the 2025 Green Cities Europe Awards. This competition, organized since 2021, rewards exemplary approaches to greening, sustainable development and improvement of the living environment.
An international jury of experts has just selected the French application presented this year by the LUMA Foundation. The project concerns the Parc des Ateliers in Arles. The jury commends the quality of the landscape design. It also highlights the environmental impact of the site. The project finally stands out for its contribution to more resilient, inclusive and sustainable cities.
The winners will be known on January 29, 2026. It will take place during an official ceremony organized during the IPM Essen exhibition, in Germany. This exhibition is one of the major international horticultural events.
The Parc des Ateliers d’Arles had already been awarded the 2024 Grand Prix des Victoires du Paysage, a national distinction rewarding exemplary approaches to greening, sustainable development and improvement of the living environment.
Two distinctions, two scales, one same course. Communities and private actors are mobilizing to make plants a strategic lever of the ecologicaecologica and improving urban well-being, factors that are now decisive for the attractiveness and resilience of territories.
