Africities-Monrovia City Mayor: « I am an inspiration for young people »
Jefferson Koijee, City Mayor of Monrovia ( Liberia) is in Marrakech for Africities Summit. Mayor of Monrovia since February 2018, he was selected recently by a program of the European Union as an ambassador for the fight against climate change. His city has been selected as one of 13 cities that will be financially supported by the European Union for energy projects. As a former activist and young political leader, he also helps his city’s youth understand food security challenges and solutions.

Houmi Ahamed est une journaliste française née en 1976 et élevée en France, marquée par une année d'études en Afrique du Sud. Elle obtient ainsi un master en journalisme au début des années 2000. Journaliste chevronnée, elle crée en 2018 une entreprise de presse: ERA ENVIRONNEMENT SARL et une radio spécialisée soutenue par l'UNESCO. Elle revient en France en 2020. Basée dorénavant à Nancy dans l’Est de la France, elle anime le podcast "Your Voice". Elle envisage de revenir sur Paris.
Houmi Ahamed is a french journalist born in 1976 and raised in France. She studied journalism one year in South Africa in 2001 . As a veteran journalist, she traveled to Comoros and establishes a company, ERA ENVIRONNEMENT SARL in 2018. Back to France in 2020. She is now based in Nancy in the eastern of France. She hosts the podcast "Your Voice".
