In parallel to the USA-Africa summit held in Washington from 13 to 15 December 2022, Houmi Ahamed-Mikidache spoke with Omar Bah, a doctor of psychology and former journalist in The Gambia. Having been a refugee in the United States of America 15 years ago, he has been a citizen for 10 years and lives in Rhode Island. Dr Bah ran for Congress this year to become a congressman. During the interview, he discussed his career and his ambitions for Africa and the United States of America. While, he was not in the summit, he gave his thoughts.
