An eco-responsible organization?

With 96% of the stand materials reused or recycled, Viva Tech claims to be eco-responsible.  This figure, regularly highlighted in its communications, is a performance indicator used to illustrate its commitment to the circular economy.

Integral parts of Viva Tech’s sustainability strategy, circular production, eco-design, clean mobility and innovative tools are presented as major axes of Viva Technology’s sustainability strategy.  The themes of ” Sustainability, Climate and Mobility and Tech for change have also marked previous editions.

They will be back

On June 12, 2025, the initiative “Greentech Innovation 2025 Winners Reveal” will stimulate the greentech ecosystem. Led by Ecolab, the innovation laboratory of the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, this initiative supports French start-ups and SMEs offering innovative solutions.

The Economic Development Agency of the Occitanie/ Pyrénées-Méditerranée region will be back again. Major player in support of employment in Occitanie, the agency will present a carbon reduction initiative through Green Innovation. It will feature 41 startups, researchers and other stakeholders in their ecosystem, including companies focused on sustainability.

Duality

As every year, Viva technology will reward start-ups with a strong environmental and social impact. 150 start-ups will be selected. Innovative companies such as HHEXANA (decarbonized energy platform) or PI-POP (electric bike without battery) have confirmed their visit to Paris. Note that the city of Paris has just been ranked 4th in the world in the “Global Tech Ecosystem Index 2025”. This ranking evaluates more than 280 ecosystems across the globe. It analyzes, among other things, the performance of startups, the quality of talent, and even intellectual property. Despite this ranking, France faces many ecological challenges. There is a tension between economic development, technological innovation and environmental imperatives.
