The 35-year-old cofounder of International Climate Change Development Initiative in Nigeria, Olumide Idowu, has been talking about climate change ever since he was a student at the university. Known today as Mr Climate, he raises awareness about waste management in his country and has established a program for primary school students in six states. He traveled to Gabon for the African Climate Conference, Rotterdam for the African Adaptation Summit, and Dakar for the African Environment Ministerial Meeting ahead of COP 27.
