All eyes are set on the 27 UN Climate Change conference held in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt from 6 to 18 november. Decision makers from across the globe gather for this conference in Egypt. For civil society, COP 27 will show if countries successfully delivered on the Glasgow Climate Pact if those commitments will be turned into action. COP 27 is seen as an African COP with key priority relating to the continent’s challenges and opportunities as loss and Damage, Climate Adaptation and Finance.
Expectations are high for developing countries. They want push a finance mecanism for loss and damage fund by the developed. Radio Era Environment looked backed to the challenges face by an african country in the Sahel, in Niger.
